He wanted to build an elite home PT studio to train his clients, but needed to ensure the space remained uncluttered, highly functional, and visually striking. Tim visited our FITEK showroom, and after extensive discussions with our team about his training style and spatial constraints, we mapped out the ultimate studio layout.
The Design: Maximizing the Studio Footprint
In a home studio, every square meter counts. We couldn’t afford to have equipment sprawling across the floor. The solution was a highly integrated, modular setup pushed neatly against the dark, aesthetic walls.
By combining the main lifting station with a robust storage solution, we kept the center of the room completely open for client movement, warm-ups, and functional training.
Engineering the Custom PT Setup

- The Power Hub: A heavy-duty FITEK rack fitted with an integrated Weight-Stack Lat Pulldown / Low Row system. This gives clients access to smooth, commercial-grade cable work without requiring a separate standalone machine.
- Mass Modular Storage: We utilized our tiered storage racks to beautifully organize medicine balls, hex dumbbells, and FITEK color bumper plates. It keeps trip hazards off the premium rubber flooring and creates a striking visual backdrop.
- Specialty Gear: Equipped with a Safety Squat Bar (SSB) for client joint longevity, alongside premium adjustable and flat benches to accommodate a massive variety of pressing movements.
