Warranty information

General Warranty

The warranty commences on the date of purchase from FITEK, as marked on your invoice.

Warranty claims in remote areas or outside metropolitan areas may incur a delivery charge. Parts and labor outside the warranty coverage will be charged at a nominal rate, including freight.

The warranty does not cover: ordinary wear and tear; user negligence, misuse, or abuse; accidents, fire, or malicious damage by a third party; or alterations and modifications by a non-authorized service technician.

Various products supplied by different manufacturers may come with different warranties. For further details, refer to the specific product details or contact us at [email protected].

Lifetime Warranty
FITEK will warranty this product from defects in material, functionality, and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. “Lifetime” warranty coverage ends when the product becomes unusable for reasons other than defects in materials or workmanship. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product for as long as they own it, and is non-transferable. This warranty does not apply to barbells that require regular maintenance.*

Construction Warranty
FITEK will warranty this product for construction only.

* For All Warranties: The warranty may be voided for any product which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Any specific issues regarding a FITEK product with which a customer is not satisfied will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

** Barbell Warranty Against Bending: This does not cover any bar which has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes abusive dropping of the bar (i.e., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms, or pins in a power rack; excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers; excessive dropping with iron plates; or excessive dropping on concrete or similar surfaces). We have found that most problems with bars we replace are related to abusive use rather than manufacturing or materials issues.
