When a client from Banyo, QLD reached out to us, they didn’t just want a standard power rack—they had a highly specific, storage-heavy vision. They were eyeing our Compact Rack CR1800 series but needed it to be meticulously tailored to their exact room layout and training workflow.

The Challenge: Maximizing Every Inch

The client came to us with some fantastic, highly technical questions regarding space optimization and attachment compatibility:

• Could the Bumper Plate Toaster replace the Dumbbell Storage Shelf at the very bottom of the rig?
• Would the Barbell Holder Attachment still fit on the bottom alongside the toaster without interference?
• How could they achieve an increased sliding range for cable movements?
• Could the upgraded Adjustable/Rotating Chin-Up Bar be completely removed from the crossmember if overhead clearance became an issue?

We verified that the adjustable chin-up bar mounts directly to the 1.8m cross beam, meaning it can be easily unbolted and removed whenever necessary without compromising the rack’s structural integrity. Furthermore, the crossmembers allowed for the exact sliding range the client desired.

The Final Setup

We took the CR1800 base and transformed it into a fully loaded, bespoke training station. By seamlessly integrating the Bumper Plate Toaster at the base, adding strategic Barbell Holders, mounting extensive dumbbell shelves, and completing the rig with the upgraded chin-up station, we delivered a masterpiece.
